Arcadia 48, Hoover 22--The Apaches (6-2, 3-0) scored the first 41 points at Arcadia.
Jason Young led a second-half Hoover rally, scoring on runs of five and one yard. Young rushed 26 times for 79 yards,
Jeff Lee’s interception set up the Tornadoes’ other score--a 10-yard touchdown run by Joshua Witkop late in the fourth quarter.
Demarris Jackson rushed 13 times for 53 yards for Hoover (0-8, 0-3).
Dexter Davis rushed for 104 yards in six carries and scored on a five-yard run for Arcadia, which gained 410 total yards.
