Paraclete 19, Montclair Prep 6--Paraclete (6-1) held the Mounties (5-2) to 108 yards at Valley College.

Montclair Prep tailback Gary Sonkur lost three fumbles, two of which led to Paraclete touchdowns. Sonkur finished with 24 yards in nine carries.

Curtis Brown rushed 17 times for 74 yards for Paraclete, including a 10-yard touchdown to open the scoring midway through the first quarter. Tommy Breech had a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter for the Spirits and finished with 46 yards in 11 carries.

Ramon Johnson of Montclair Prep returned the second-half kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown.

Josh White scored the game’s final points, returning a punt 29 yards for a touchdown to open the fourth quarter.
