Carpinteria 39, Fillmore 0--With leading rusher Ted Chewning held out of the game with an injury, Fillmore (2-5, 0-1) was no match for the Carpinteria defense.
Isaac Oseguera rushed for 69 yards in 16 carries and Kyle McDowell added 58 in six carries for Fillmore, which was hurt by two lost fumbles.
Carpinteria (5-2, 2-0) was paced by Ryan Gocong, who completed seven of 12 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown in 12 carries.
