* Re the Oct. 18 article on the Green Party in New Mexico:
What a novel idea for a political platform! Run on relevant issues like health care, jobs at a livable wage and corporate welfare, rather than crime or Monica Lewinsky. If candidates of the two major parties engaged in honest debates on these issues, there would be an increase in voter turnout unlike any in recent memory.
