Garbage Truck Crashes Into Home; No One Injured

A garbage truck crashed into a Brentwood home Tuesday after the truck’s parking brake apparently failed, Los Angeles police said.
Three people were at the home but were not injured.
The parking brake was engaged but did not hold, said Officer Gary Ross. The driver was in an alley Tuesday morning when the truck rolled away and smashed into the two-story home.
There was no damage estimate, said Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis.
