GOLDEN LEAGUE
Antelope Valley 36, Quartz Hill 0--Running backs Bruce Molock and Jermaine Marshall combined for 279 yards and four touchdowns and the Antelopes (2-3-1) routed Quartz Hill (2-4) in a league opener at Antelope Valley.
Molock, who rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns in 20 carries, gave Antelope Valley a 22-0 lead when he ran for a 22-yard touchdown with 5:14 remaining in the third quarter. Molock gained all 62 yards of the Antelope drive in six carries.
Marshall, who finished with 132 yards in 19 carries, opened the scoring with a three-yard touchdown run with 11:54 remaining in the first half. Chasio Gaines returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown with 4:13 to play.
Quartz Hill surrendered four sacks and managed 19 yards in the first half, finishing with 71. The Rebels rushed for only three yards.
