City Hall Is Focus of Awareness Week

In an effort to encourage residents to participate in the mayoral and City Council elections, Garden Grove will celebrate the “Great City Hall Tune In” Sunday through Oct. 10.
“It is our hope that this awareness week will cause our residents to tune in to our meetings and become an active part of the community policy-making process,” said Mayor Bruce Broadwater, who is running against insurance salesman Al Snook.
Local cable television station 3A broadcasts City Council meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m. Reruns of the meetings are shown Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6:30 p.m.
