Alabama Suspends Receiver

Alabama receiver Michael Vaughn has been suspended for Saturday’s game against Florida because of disciplinary reasons.
Coach Mike DuBose, who did not disclose the infraction that prompted the one-game suspension, said Vaughn would be allowed to practice with the team and return for the Mississippi game Oct. 10.

James “Boots” Donnelly, the coach at Middle Tennessee State the past 20 years, said he’s stepping down at the end of this season. Donnelly is 132-79-1 at Middle Tennessee, including a 1-3 mark this season.
