Paraclete 30, Village Christian 3--Freshman Curtis Brown rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns for the Spirits (9-1, 4-0) at Kennedy High.
Brown capped a 10-play, 63-yard drive on Paraclete’s opening possession, scoring on a five-yard run. He added a 15-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter to give the Spirits a 14-0 lead and scored on a seven-yard run late in the third quarter.
Rob Fockaert completed 15 of 22 passes for 175 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown to Jordan Aquino midway through the second quarter gave Paraclete a 21-0 lead.
Tommy Breech caught six passes for 66 yards for the Spirits.
Matthew Ryburn kicked a 47-yard field goal as time expired in the first half for Village Christian (2-8, 0-4).
