I am so tired of hearing all you sportswriters and also the majority of the L.A. public crying about how the Dodgers are no longer a “family-run” baseball team. You should all remember the family-run Dodgers not signing a guy that had played his entire career for the Dodgers, and who also happened to be their bat boy when he was a kid. Remember him, a little guy by the name of Steve Garvey?

The Dodgers seem to forget what it meant each time Mike Piazza came to bat. Go on, make Mike a scapegoat, but if the Dodgers were in the American League, they would be the only team with a DH for the catcher.
