Bolling, from West Torrance High, had his best day in the biggest game of the season. He had a three-run homer, a triple and three singles as Saddleback beat Riverside to win a share of the conference title. Bolling capped his day with the game-winning hit in the ninth inning. He also had two homers earlier in the week and has 16 this season.

Swimming

Ganda, from Indonesia, capped a solid two-year career at OCC by winning the 100-yard backstroke at the state meet in Ventura. Her time was 59.40 seconds. She also turned in second-place performances in the 50 butterfly (26.47) and the 50 backstroke (27.34). She had won the state title in the 50 backstroke as a freshman. OCC finished second to Riverside.

* Golden West, freshman. She finished second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 50 and 100 freestyles at the state meet.
