Girl, 13, Commits Suicide at School

A 13-year-old girl who had talked about problems at home committed suicide at a Chapel Hill school, shooting herself in a bathroom. The girl died at a hospital about three hours after the shooting. Students said the seventh-grader was new to Grey Culbreth Middle School. Classes continued after the incident, with counselors providing assistance to students.
