National Title Cheers School’s Dance Team

The Tustin High School Dance Team earned the status of national champions at a San Antonio, Texas, competition this month.
The 22-member team competed against more than 75 high school teams from throughout the country March 14 and 15, and captured the national title in overall performance at the National Cheer Assn.’s National Dance Team Championship.
The squad’s routine, “Alice in Wonderland” received the highest score in the team performance category. The group also placed among the top four teams in the pom and jazz divisions.
