Attorney Gloria Allred Set to Speak at Women’s Forum

Civil rights attorney Gloria Allred will be the keynote speaker at a city-sponsored forum tonight to discuss women’s involvement in public policy.
The forum will focus on laws and policies that affect everyday life. It will include discussion of how women can become more involved in public life, said Barbara Hamaker, a member of the city Women’s Advisory Board, the event’s sponsor.
The free event is part of the city’s celebration of Women’s History Month, Hamaker said.
Former West Hollywood mayor Abbe Land will moderate the panel.
The event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the West Hollywood Park Auditorium, 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. Parking is free. Information: (213) 848-6460.
