Sign-Up Ends Sunday for CSUN Open House
Sunday is the deadline to register for an event that will provide an insider’s view of Cal State Northridge for newly admitted high school seniors and their families.
The “Achieve Your Personal Best†open house, scheduled for March 21, is intended to familiarize incoming freshmen with the ins and outs of college life at CSUN.
“One of the best things about the [open house] are the student ambassadors,†said Alex Lucero, university ambassador and student recruiter for CSUN. “The new students get to see everything from another student’s point of view. They can identify with each other.â€
The open house, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., includes workshops and walking tours. Representatives from various academic programs and student activities will answer questions at information booths throughout the campus.
Registration is being held at the Matador Bookstore lawn on the west side of campus, which is at 18111 Nordhoff St.
