Update--The Lakers have won four in a row against the Clippers. But the last time the teams met at the Pond, on Feb 4, 1997, the Clippers won decisively, 108-86, in front of a sellout crowd of 18,462. Clipper forward Lorenzen Wright, who sat out all four games on the just concluded trip because of a sprained left ankle, is eligible to come off the injured list in time for Friday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors at the Sports Arena. The Clippers are 2-4 at the Pond this season and 12-15 since they started playing there five years ago.
