Man Dies in Accident at Office Building
WOODLAND HILLS — A 44-year-old Moreno Valley man was killed Saturday when he was crushed by a 4-ton cabinet at an office building on Oxnard Avenue, authorities said.
City firefighters responded to an emergency call shortly after 9 a.m. at 21650 Oxnard Ave. and found the man in full cardiac arrest, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis said. The man was taken to Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:32 a.m., hospital officials said.
The death is being investigated by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as an industrial accident, authorities said. The man’s name was withheld pending notification of family.
