Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting of Transient

Sheriff’s homicide detectives are searching for the killer of a 43-year-old transient who was shot to death in the parking lot of a convenience store.
Victor Valencia was gunned down after getting into an argument with an unidentified person in a black Honda shortly before 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
During the incident at the 7-Eleven in the 1600 block of Monterey Pass Road, several shots were fired by an individual in the Honda, authorities said.
Valencia died at the scene, Deputy Angie Prewett said.
