Conspiracy Theory, or Just a Bad Coach?

Season seat renewals for the Mighty Ducks were due Friday, June 12. On Monday, June 15, Pierre Page was fired. Could it be plummeting season-seat sales that triggered the firing?

After witnessing the Mighty Ducks’ latest public relations blunder, I look back over the past year, and two things become obvious to me:

1. When is Disney going to realize that Tavares is useless?

2. Disney’s main priority is not winning the Stanley Cup; it is providing family-oriented entertainment. But if it’s comedy I want, I’ll turn on the TV to listen to Eisner talk about the Angels and his knowledge of baseball.
