Albright Comment

Scolding two sovereign nations as if Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is the parent and the two nations, India and Pakistan, are naughty children by saying “cool it” is a new low in international communication, sensitivity and diplomacy (June 4).
The arrogance of such language used in dealing with nations that use the queens’s English is offensive. Were the traditions of protocol, dignity and respect traded to China as well? This tone misrepresents our country and demeans us in the world of diplomacy.
