Reserve Officers Recognized by Group
The California Law Enforcement Reserve Coordinators’ Assn. recently recognized the top reserve police officers of the past year.
Reserve Officer Earl Carpenter of the Westminster Police Department was named Orange County Reserve Officer of the Year. The Rookie of the Year award went to Reserve Deputy Todd Summers of the county sheriff-coroner’s office. Reserve Lt. Neil Reich, also of the county office, received a Distinguished Service Award.
Special service award recognition went to Garden Grove Reserve Officers Brian Kenny and Ron Hall, Art Pegg of the Buena Park Police Department, and Reserve Sgt. Michael Wong of the county sheriff-coroner’s office.
