2 From Fairmont Win Science Fair Prizes
Two Fairmont Junior High students have earned statewide recognition for their research projects at the California Science Fair in Los Angeles.
Laura Miller, an eighth-grader from Huntington Beach, won first place in the applied mechanics category with a project titled “The Blood Stoppers.â€
Jennifer Sta Ana of Corona took third place in social sciences with her project, “The Measure of Peer Pressure.â€
