Gull Wings Museum Selects Director
The Ventura County Gull Wings Children’s Museum announced Thursday that it has selected interim director Leana Bowman as its new executive director.
“I am proud the board has faith in me,†said Bowman, who served as interim director for four months. “I will continue to work hard to see that their trust is rewarded.â€
The museum offers fun and educational exhibits, including a medical room, puppet theater, shadow box and a room where visitors can learn stellar navigation.
The museum, 418 West 4th St. in Oxnard, is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
