Marriage seems to agree with Luis Tinoco. When Lancaster had a day off two weeks ago, he and his fiancee Violet were married. As a single man, Tinoco was batting .280. As a newlywed, he is batting .353. They plan to have a bigger ceremony when they return to Maracaibo, Venezuela, in the fall.

The loss dropped Lancaster to 15-19. Stockton is 17-17.
