RemedyTemp Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano temporary services agency said third-quarter net income rose 35%, to a record $3.5 million, or 38 cents a share, from $2.6 million, or 29 cents a share, for the same period in fiscal 1997. Revenue for the quarter ended June 28 increased 23% to a record $113.4 million from $92.3 million. For the nine months, net income was $10 million, or $1.08 a share, 39% higher than the $7.2 million, or 79 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue grew 28% to $334.1 million from $260.4 million.
