Woman Is Robbed Outside DMV Office
A Department of Motor Vehicles employee was robbed at knifepoint by two men outside her Santa Paula office Thursday morning, police said.
Officers arrested a pair of suspects, 18 and 17, about 30 minutes later, but released them pending further investigation.
The incident occurred about 7:30 a.m. as the woman arrived to open the Harvard Boulevard office. Two men approached her and demanded her wallet and car keys, the victim told police.
The woman threw cash at the robbers, who took the money and fled, police said.
