Revere Transducers in Purchase Deal

SI Technologies Inc. said it agreed to acquire Revere Transducers Inc., a Tustin-based manufacturer of sensors and other devices, for $10.4 million in cash, from Harnischfeger Industries.
About half of Revere’s annual revenue of $21 million is generated outside the United States.
Seattle-based SI also said it plans to acquire Allegany Technology Inc. of Cumberland, Md. Terms were not disclosed. Allegany Technology makes and markets force measurement equipment, such as industrial crane and lift truck scales.
SI Technologies makes systems that improve the processing, movement and transportation of goods and materials.
