Local Volleyball Teams Dominate at Festival
Orange County girls’ volleyball club teams made a strong showing at last week’s 15th annual Volleyball Festival at UC Davis.
In the premier 18-and-under division, OCVBC Nike won 14 consecutive matches, beating Nike Northwest of Oregon in the championship match, 13-5, 15-11.
The Saddleback Volleyball Club of Irvine finished third in the 18-and-under division. Laguna Beach VBC won the 14-and-under and 12-and-under titles and finished second in the 16-and-under division. OCVBC Blue finished third in the 16-and-under division.
