Oseguera Scores Career-High 32 for UCI

Leticia Oseguera scored a career-high 32 points and had 14 rebounds to lead visiting UC Irvine over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 81-64, in Big West Conference women’s basketball.

Oseguera was 14 of 17 from the field.

Chelsea Mackey scored 18 points for the Anteaters (10-8, 5-2) and had nine rebounds. Megan Stafford had 12 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Stephanie Osorio scored 15 points for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (5-13, 2-5).

In another conference game:

UC Santa Barbara 101, CS Fullerton 78--The Titans were held to 19 first-half points after making eight for 28 from the field. Kristi Rohr scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Fullerton.

In a nonconference game:

Chapman 66, UC Santa Cruz 48--Melissa Lopez scored 21 points and was six for six from the free-throw line for visiting Chapman. Lyndsay Brown scored 19 points for the Panthers.
