Low-Flow Toilets Are for Sale at Discount
To help customers save water, the Mesa Consolidated Water District will offer low-flush toilets at reduced prices.
Through the district’s Water Efficiency Program, customers can replace their old toilet with a new model for $40. Retail value is $125, according to the district.
Older toilets use 3.5 to 7 gallons of water per flush. The low-flow models use 1.6 gallons.
Customers must bring in their water bill account number and appropriate measurements for installation.
Toilets are on sale at Mesa’s offices, 1965 Placentia Ave.
The program is offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays during February.
