Students of Spanish to Visit Costa Rica
An educational adventure in Costa Rica awaits those students enrolling in an Irvine Valley College Spanish immersion course.
Participants in the June 27-July 26 course will attend language classes at the Central American Institute for International Affairs in the capital city of San Jose while living with a Costa Rican family. Any student, regardless of ability in Spanish, may participate.
Outside the classroom, students will practice Spanish and learn native customs through field trips and weekend tours.
Those interested in taking the course should attend one of the remaining informational meetings held in the IVC Community Education Building: Feb. 21 from 9 to 11 a.m.; March 4 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.; or March 21 from 9 to 11 a.m.
