Tampa Bay left wing Vladimir Vujtek, chosen to play for the Czech Republic’s hockey team at Nagano, was advised by doctors not to play for the rest of the season because of a virus that has affected his heart. A replacement has not been named, but it is believed Ottawa’s Radek Bonk will take Vujtek’s place.
