The City Council recently approved the appointment of John Reekstin to head its Administrative Services Department. Reekstin, who has served as the Administrative Services manager for Santa Ana since 1991, will begin his new job Jan. 4.
Reekstin “is a very talented manager who will bring very strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills to the organization,” City Administrator Ray Silver said.
