Same Old Game of Name Change
* As a Valley resident for 46 years, I am amused that T. Christian Miller (“On the Road to New Identity,” Dec. 12) is shocked by a Valley name change. For the benefit of a developer!
But it has always been so. Pacoima to Arleta, Roscoe to Sun Valley, Sepulveda to North Hills.
And always for real estate reasons, no matter what hypocritical motives were paraded forth. It has always been to get away from “those” people who “drag down the value of our homes.”
And it will ever be thus, as long as developers fatten the campaign chests of our council people. Miller’s outcry strikes me as naive.
