Camarillo Hike to Focus on Park’s Habitat Value

There will be an informational walk for botanist and bird-watching enthusiasts through the wild spaces of Camarillo Regional Park on Jan. 16.
The outing will be led by David Magney of the California Native Plant Society, Tom Halpin of the Audubon Society and John Buse of the Environmental Defense Center.
They will talk about the park’s habitat value, the life it supports and projects that may affect the land in the future.
The hike, which is open to the public, will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Camarillo Regional Park near the Conejo Creek Bridge.
