Library Ignorance

Jeers to Jan Stuart for suggesting, in his otherwise delightful piece on Joseph Fiennes, that libraries are used primarily by “fusty academics” (“For Joseph Fiennes, Simple Things Bring Greatest Joy,” Dec. 18). The comment only served to illustrate the author’s own ignorance about today’s libraries, where Internet stations, as well as Fiennes’ preferred format--books--are available in abundance.
Get thee to a library, Mr. Stuart, and see what you’ve been missing!
