The Planning Commission will again take up a request from officials with the Rossmoor/Los Alamitos Area Sewer District to rezone their property on Katella Avenue from public to commercial use. The commissioners previously had denied the request, but the district appealed that decision to the City Council this week.
Council members asked the Planning Commission to reconsider the zoning status of the sewer district land as well as property surrounding it.
The issue likely will come before the commission in February.
