2 Men Who Posed as Utility Workers Sought in Killing
Two men who posed as utility workers shot and killed one person Sunday morning during a home invasion robbery in Baldwin Hills, police said.
The men, dressed in orange uniforms, entered a home in the 3400 block of South Cochran Avenue about 8:40 a.m. by telling the residents they were utility repairmen.
After tying up one resident and fatally shooting the other, the men stole a 1998 silver Lexus and fled, police said. The car was later recovered.
The name of the shooting victim was not released Sunday night. Authorities say that anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
