An anonymous donor recently gave $10,000 to the Friends of the La Habra Library, the largest amount the organization has ever received. The money will go toward building the English-Spanish collection for young readers and the audio book collection, said Bette Frazier, the organization’s president. The funds will also help create a career center, a request of the La Habra resident who donated the money.
For information on donating money or used books, call (714) 562-7728, or visit the Friends at 221 E. La Habra Blvd.
