Repairs to Water Lines May Disrupt Service
The Metropolitan Water District is planning to shut down its meter connection with Lomita from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday to conduct repairs.
City officials said the repair work will probably affect the areas south of Pacific Coast Highway to 263rd Street more than other areas of the city. Officials said residents living in the area may experience water outages and water pressure may drop.
To minimize the impact of the repairs, officials ask that residents turn off their sprinklers and use water sparingly until the work is completed.
