2 High Schools Get Extra Party Money

El Dorado and Esperanza high school officials will receive $250 more than they requested for their graduation-night celebrations.
The City Council recently approved a grant of $1,250 each for the parties, which promote safe, sober and drug-free activities.
The council also approved a $1,000 donation to the 12th annual AIDS Walk Orange County, planned for June 7.
