Woman Hit, Injured Crossing Beach Blvd.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A woman was hit by a car and seriously injured late Sunday as she attempted to cross Beach Boulevard on foot, police said.
The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange with injuries that police said did not appear to be life threatening.
The driver apparently did not see the woman--who was wearing dark clothing--when she entered Beach Boulevard south of Yorktown Avenue about 10 p.m., police said.
