Concordia Opens 116-Student Dorm
Concordia University last week celebrated the opening of a 29-unit dormitory that will house 116 students.
Concordia, a private Christian university, expects an enrollment of about 1,300 students this fall, its 22nd academic year.
Construction of the dormitory was made possible by a fund-raising campaign, which will continue through June 2000. So far the university has raised $21 million of a $30-million target to build dorms and a campus student union and to fund several academic and scholarship programs.
