No. 5 Tar Heels to Test Yellow Jackets

Fifth-ranked North Carolina will try to avenge a 27-25 loss to Georgia Tech the last time the teams met in Atlanta when they play tonight in an Atlantic Coast Conference game.
The Tar Heels (7-0 overall, 4-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) meet third-ranked Florida State on Nov. 8 and and will be trying to not look past tonight’s game against the Yellow Jackets (4-2, 3-1).

Washington State quarterback Ryan Leaf bruised his left shoulder during practice Wednesday and may have to sit out today’s session.
The bruise shouldn’t keep Leaf, a right-hander, out of the No. 10 Cougars’ game Saturday at No. 20 Arizona State.
