So, have you ever wondered what you’d look like with a different hair color? Or wanted to try a make-over at a department store but were too intimidated? Well, a whole new you is just a click away, thanks to SegaSoft and Hearst Magazines, publisher of Cosmopolitan. The two have joined to create Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover, a program that lets anyone try on a variety of new looks.

Working with a scanned head shot, users can test different hairstyles, hair colors, eyebrow shapes, eye colors, blushes, eye shadows and lipsticks. The program also offers beauty tips from the Cosmo editors and a selection of brand name cosmetics with such names as Toasted Almond Continuous Color, Self-Renewing lipstick and Iced Cappuccino Cheekers blush.

“For years, the Cosmopolitan Makeover has been one of the magazine’s most popular features,†says David Graff, senior vice president of Hearst Magazines International. “Every Cosmo girl has dreamed of having a Cosmopolitan make-over. Now she can experiment at home with hundreds of new looks based on tips from the editors.â€
