Jackson scored seven touchdowns, an Orange County single-game record, in Western’s 54-7 victory Friday over Santa Ana Valley. He rushed for 310 yards in 22 carries and scored one of his touchdowns on a 93-yard run. It wasn’t his first big game this season. He gained 216 yards in 22 carries the previous week against Los Alamitos.

* Tustin, senior. Rushed for 199 yards and scored six touchdowns in 60-0 victory over Canyon, including 99-yard interception return.
Danny Lee/Cross-Country
* El Toro, senior. Finished second at the Clovis Invitational in 15 minutes 25 seconds on the 3.1-mile course at Woodward Park. Also set a course-record at O’Neill Park in victory over Corona del Mar.
