Red Cross to Hold Free El Nino Workshop
The Orange County chapter of the Red Cross will offer a free two-hour workshop today on how to prepare for the rains and flooding anticipated from El Nino.
The workshop will provide residents with information on how to assemble a family disaster kit, come up with a disaster plan and help children cope with disasters.
The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Red Cross offices, 600 N. Parkcenter Drive, Santa Ana.
