Traveler’s Note . . .
Nearly 5.4 million people in the Western U.S. were expected to travel by motor vehicle this Thanksgiving holiday, up 6% from last year and the second highest level since a record 5.8 million in 1992, according to projections by the Automobile Club of Southern California.
