Free Clinic Selected to Receive $5,000 Grant
The Free Clinic of Simi Valley has been awarded a $5,000 general operating grant for the 1998 fiscal year.
The money was made available by the Wood-Claeyssens Foundation, a nonprofit corporation that focuses on charities in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, said Nicolette Munoz, fund-raising director for the clinic.
The clinic provides medical care, counseling and legal assistance to residents of Simi Valley, Moorpark and the Conejo Valley, regardless of their ability to pay.
For information on the services offered, call 522-3733 from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
