This is a rematch of last year’s first-round game in which at-large Pacifica upset the third-seeded Hawks and went on to reach the championship game against Aliso Niguel. Similarly, Laguna Hills is seeded fourth this season--and again has the high-powered offense--while Pacifica is the third-place team from the Garden Grove League. “But I think we’re playing as well right now as any team in our league,†Coach Bill Craven said. The other Garden Grove League team still playing is Rancho Alamitos, which is seeded No. 1. Laguna Hills wants revenge; Pacifica wants respect.
